Posted by Hi guys, what’s up. The DS times here. This is my first proper post on my website, and I am glad to write this. Today, I am going to explain a project we did, the Wormhole News. You guys all know what is a Wormhole, right?
This is what we usually call a wormhole, some tunnel between two blackholes….. etc. Basically, it means that we could travel through time and space. So… this wormhole news is writing important events as news. For example,
President Lincoln stops the Civil War
Something like this. I did this when I was in fourth grade, and it was tiring but fun I guess. So, our teacher makes three groups and assign us a timeline. For example, Stone Age, Middle Age, Recent Past, etc. I don’t remember it well. Anyways, our team was “Recent Past”, which includes WW1 and WW2! There was a boy who loved WW2, and he was very happy. Anyways, there are sections in the newspaper, such as “Economy”, “Health”, “Sports”, etc. We each choose a topic we want to write about, and we write one article for each topic. For example, I did “The Flu” for health, and “The Great Depression” for the Economy. We needed to research and paste images and stuff. This was a month-long project, so we had plenty of time. So, we finished all our articles, and teachers select the best one for each timeline for each section. Then, the teachers edit some parts of the article, and then our academy asks the newspaper company to print the articles out as if it is a real newspaper. Then, the teachers give the printed newspaper out. Here is a brief summary of the article I wrote.
Korea Attains Liberation
After all the tortures from Japan, Korea is finally an independent country again, thanks to the U.S. However, some people think that this is a bad thing because we didn’t attain liberation by ourselves.
This was the summary of the article I wrote. Also, we included comixes. It was a lot of fun.
